St. Joseph's College for Women

SJC ECO club was inaugurated with the aim of inspiring the student community to actively contribute to the preservation of the environment. The motto of the SJC ECO Club is "Where there is green, there is prosperity." This club serves as a platform to engage the students in meaningful environmental activities. Additionally, the club observes environment-oriented days such as World Ozone Day, World Water Day, and World Environment Day.

The Wildlife Week celebration hosted by the SJC Eco Club proves to be highly successful in promoting awareness regarding the vital significance of bio-diversity conservation.

The club organizes an eco-trekking trip like Thoovanam Waterfalls and Marayoor. These trips offer the participants invaluable lessons in bio-diversity conservation and instill a profound reverence for the natural environment, rendering it a truly unforgettable experience.

The club's annual Community Tree Plantation Drive is an incredible event that brings together students, staff, and community members to plant native tree species and enhance green spaces in the chosen area, making the environment more beautiful and sustainable.
